About the Client
Exicom is a technology manufacturer whose technical manuals needed to look professional and stay consistent across the team. The starting point was a plain, unformatted Word file; the goal was a reusable branded template – not a one-off document.
Challenge & Solution
Our team built a complete corporate document template in Microsoft Word:
- A full named-style system – cover titles, section headings, body text, captions, and branded table styles
- Designed front and back covers carrying the brand
- Section dividers, running heads, and an automatic table of contents
- Corporate fonts, brand colors, and logo applied throughout
- Delivered as an editable .dotx template the team reuses for every future manual
Structure That Builds Itself
Every heading and paragraph is driven by a named Word style – change a style once and the whole document updates, and the table of contents rebuilds itself from the heading styles. Add or reorder a section and the contents page corrects itself. This is what turns a document into a template.
Client Benefits
- Every future manual starts on-brand – no formatting from scratch
- Covers that look design-made, yet stay fully editable in Word
- Consistency holds no matter who on the team edits the file
- Branded tables keep technical data readable and on-brand
